Editorial and Manuscript Consultancy Service

Maybe you have a bottom drawer filled with manuscripts that no-one but you has ever seen. Maybe you’ve been submitting stories to magazines, or novels to agents or publishers, with no success

Writing can be a lonely occupation, with little or no feedback. And let’s be honest, family and friends aren’t always the best people to give an unbiased opinion. You need to know what works and what doesn't in your writing, and when you know which areas to focus on - whether it's your characters, your plots, your writing style - a little guidance doesn't come amiss.

You need the personal, focussed attention that's often hard to find - even local writers' groups can be a mixed blessing, often with too little time to give the attention you need.

For short stories or novel extracts up to 5,000 words... £85

For longer pieces the fee is by arrangment.
